Presentation
The Godin Session T-Pro Arctik Blue guitar builds on the foundations of the Session HT, adding components designed for discerning guitarists. Its Canadian basswood body keeps the weight down whilst ensuring comfortable playing during long sessions. Its high-gloss Arctik Blue finish highlights the instrument’s modern lines. This version is made in Canada and comes with a travel bag.
The hard maple neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, offering a different playing feel to the maple-fingerboard version. The 25.5" scale length and 12" radius make it equally suited to chords and more technical passages. The 22 frets provide extended access to the treble register. The 18:1 ratio locking tuners facilitate precise adjustments and enhance tuning stability.
The HSS configuration features two Seymour Duncan SSL-2 pickups in the neck and middle positions, alongside a Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special at the bridge. The SSL-2s use flat magnets that produce a fuller sound than many traditional single-coil pickups. The RWRP middle pickup reduces noise in the middle positions. The Saturday Night Special humbucker, meanwhile, delivers vintage rock tones rich in character.
The push-pull tone control allows the humbucker to be split, producing tones closer to an SSS configuration. The 5-position switch offers a wide range of combinations to suit many musical styles. The Godin Tru-Loc vibrato completes the package with smooth operation and excellent tuning stability.
