The AZ22S2 Mint Green from Ibanez establishes itself as a highly versatile instrument, capable of covering a sound spectrum ranging from the softest blues phrasing to the densest metal riffs. The structure of this guitar is based on an alder body, chosen for its balanced resonance and natural sustain, combined with a retro-modern Mint Green finish.

Playing comfort is at the heart of the design. The torrefied maple neck is heat-treated to make it more resistant to variations in temperature and humidity. Its oval shape and 'Super All Access' heel provide unobstructed access to the highest notes on the neck.

The jatoba fingerboard, fitted with 22 jumbo stainless steel frets, provides a durable playing surface and clean articulation, whether playing complex chords or single notes. On the electronics side, the Ibanez Classic Custom configuration combined with the dyna-MIX9 system offers a wide tonal palette.

Thanks to the Alter Switch, you can choose from nine different pickup combinations, even simulating humbucking sounds from the single pickups. The hardware is no slouch either, with locking tuning machines for reliable tuning and a T106 vibrato for precise intonation settings for each string.
