Presentation
The Gretsch Catalina Maple Lemon Sparkle features 7-ply maple drums that produce a clean, even sound. Each barrel is chamfered at 30°, allowing the heads to vibrate smoothly. The 2.3 mm steel hoops maintain stable tension even when you change tuning.
The double tom support holds the 10 "x7" and 12 "x8" toms without interfering with their resonance. The 14 "x14" tom rests on an easy-to-adjust, stable stand. The 20 "x16" bass drum uses insulated grips and telescopic spurs to prevent slipping. Matching wooden hoops add to the visual appeal of the set. The 14 "x5.5" snare benefits from the updated Full Range Throw Off system for quick tone adjustment.
The GTS mounting limits contact points to let the toms express themselves naturally. Gretsch heads made by Remo are ready for initial tuning without modification. The natural interior of the barrels helps to maintain an identical sound from one barrel to the next.
