The Gretsch Catalina Maple Seafoam Green is built on 7-ply maple drums that provide a straight, easy-to-adjust tonal base. The 30° bevels help the heads to respond quickly, even when you're playing softly. The 2.3 mm steel hoops maintain stable tension without complicating tuning. The double tom holder accommodates 10 "x7" and 12 "x8" toms without blocking their resonance.
The 14 "x14" stand tom provides a smooth response and easy placement. The 20 "x16" bass drum uses insulated grips and reliable spurs to prevent rotation. Matching hoops give the set a clean, consistent look. The 14 "x5.5" snare features the updated Full Range Throw Off system to adjust tone in one simple motion.
The GTS mounting limits contact points so that the toms retain a natural resonance. The Gretsch skins made by Remo give the right sound right from the first tuning.
