Hagstrom - Adina Crème

The Hagstrom Adina Crème is a 6-string electric guitar that first catches the eye with its balance of retro styling and contemporary details. Its asymmetrical double-cutaway shape gives it a distinctive silhouette, whilst the mahogany body and Canadian maple top, finished with a flamed maple veneer, lend the instrument a beautiful presence. In this Crème finish, the tortoiseshell pickguard adds a warm touch that further emphasises its vintage inspiration. It’s the sort of guitar that fits right in, whether in the studio or on stage, whilst retaining a distinct visual character.

The Adina isn’t just about looks: its pickup configuration allows you to switch between different tonal characters depending on your playing style. The P-50 (P-90-style) pickup, positioned at the neck, delivers a warm response with plenty of character, ideal for round, expressive tones. The Custom 60 Humbucker, fitted at the bridge, delivers greater power and a crisper attack when you’re looking for a more incisive sound. Thanks to the push/pull tone control, the humbucker can also be split to achieve a tone closer to that of a single-coil pickup. This allows you to vary the guitar’s tone without changing instruments.

The bolt-on Canadian maple neck features a Resinator™ fingerboard with a 15" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets. With a scale length of 25.5" (648 mm), the Adina retains a familiar format, suited equally to chords, riffs and melodic lines. The Wrap-Around bridge contributes to the instrument’s sustain and responsiveness, with saddles offering a wide enough adjustment range to fine-tune the intonation. Hagstrom 19:1 tuning machines complete the package, allowing for precise tuning adjustment. With its 1960s-inspired looks, this Cream Adina offers a contemporary design and a tonal palette that lends itself to a variety of playing styles.
