In 1958 the Swedish company Hagström began manufacturing electric guitars. Many models have become bestsellers ... and some of legends, played by other legends: Frank Zappa, Elvis Presley, Larry Corryell, David Bowie and Abba played on Hagström. Hagström was synonymous with excellent quality and unique in their kind sounds. One factor in the most famous guitars arched top of the time, James "Jimmy" L. D'Aquisto, designed a whole series of arched top models for Hagström, models called "Jimmy", whose reputation took a mythical proportions.
In 1982, Hagström guitars production stops. Since then, the old Hagström demand has grown steadily and currently the Hagström instruments are coveted collectibles.
