In this little black cube, hand-assembled in Berlin, every element sounds just right: in-house AMT tweeter with lightning response, 5" honeycomb woofer that slams transients, and a full analogue signal path that sends DSP and AD/DA conversions to the cupboard. The result? A blindingly clear stereo image, bass down to 43 Hz, and an ultra-extended frequency response down to 50 kHz. All powered by a dual 2 x 100 W Class D amplifier. The 100% analogue signal path is one of the strengths of this TYPE 05 A-CORE. No digital conversions, no latency, no software tinkering.
