A must-have for your studio, the Type 05 MK2 Black is a 2-way active monitor speaker, featuring a 5" woofer and ribbon tweeter, perfectly suited to your mixing work.
Thanks to its Lineariser technology, it has an excellent linear phase response and delivers extremely accurate sound.
Designed to be used both as a closed cabinet and as a bass reflex (open cabinet), the Type 05 MK2 Black is supplied with a CoP (Closed or Ported) plug allowing you to switch quickly from one configuration to the other. All you have to do is remove or add the cap and change the DSP parameters according to your desired use.
Combined with FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filtering, this design allows you to achieve either accurate transient response and optimum frequency response (closed cabinet approach), or the benefits of a dynamic, low range design with increased SPL.
