In Olive Drab, the H-137 Ascent+ takes on a more contemporary identity, while retaining a solid technical base. The mahogany body provides a denser tonal response, with natural sustain and a certain roundness in the midrange. The glued mahogany neck reinforces this coherence by ensuring good vibration transmission. The C-profile remains accessible, but the addition of a contoured heel greatly improves access to the upper frets. This design makes the instrument more pleasant to play throughout its entire length, particularly for melodic parts or solos. The rosewood fingerboard with 12" to 16" compound radius provides real fluidity, making it easy to switch from chordal playing to more expansive bends.

The P90 noiseless pickups are a key feature of this version. They retain the open, responsive character of the P90s, with a precise attack and marked grain, while limiting unwanted noise. In clean sound, the rendition remains defined and detailed, while in saturation, the sound gains in presence and texture, without becoming muddy. This configuration allows you to enjoy the P90 character in modern playing conditions, particularly on stage.

The electronics remain deliberately simple and effective, with intuitive settings. The wraparound bridge completes the package, promoting sustain and responsiveness.
