The L7 New Gen Metallic Gold from Sire Larry Carlton is a contemporary interpretation of the single cut format, designed to meet the demands of guitarists. The mahogany body, lightened by a weight-relief system and combined with a hard maple top, ensures a balanced response, combining warmth and definition.
The Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard, with its rounded edges, enhances playing comfort, while the Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets guarantee precision and durability. The mahogany neck, featuring a C-profile and bonded construction, promotes efficient vibration transmission and smooth sustain.
The White Pearloid crown markings add to the instrument's visual identity. The electronics are based on two LC Vintage-2 humbuckers, combined with a three-position selector switch and push/pull controls, allowing a variety of sound registers to be exploited, from high output to more open textures.
All the hardware includes a Tune-O-Matic bridge and an aluminium stop tailpiece, ensuring good stability. Locking tuners complete the package for reliable tuning. Fitted with DR Dragon Skin strings and a DEQ-10 EQ, it offers a complete solution for use in the studio or on stage.
