Amplifier Heads for Bass
The Hiwatt Bulldog 440SH Rack bass amp head is muscle in a box. The well-adjusted bass and treble sculpt tone in a snap! Every room has its own acoustics, but with this control, you'll quickly get into the swing of things. In the studio, the XLR DI output rocks, but you'll enjoy mic'ing the speaker to capture all the magic. Even at low volumes, it retains its punch. The 400W power makes no compromises. It hits hard without invading, even in a small space.

Presentation
The Hiwatt Bulldog 440SH Rack bass amplifier head is the bomb.
With 400W under the hood and two Speakon outputs, you have the choice: one speaker, two speakers, it's powerful, it rocks!
On stage, you connect two cabs to cover the entire room. It's just as powerful as the biggest.
The 7-band EQ? A real treat. Each frequency is fine-tuned to the millimeter. If you want your bass to hit your gut, you push it.
For the treble, you make it sharp, but without it tearing your ears apart. It's precision, not vagueness.
The Limiter is your shield. When you're in "big attack" mode, it ensures nothing clips. Forget about unwanted distortion. The sound remains crisp, even when you're pumping up the beast.
Active and passive inputs? It's pure flexibility. For your active bass, you use the active input—no surprises.
If you take out a passive one, the passive input takes over. Each bass finds its own input; it's child's play.
Rackable in 3U, this model fits seamlessly into your setup. At 4.9 kg, it's light as a feather, yet packs a powerful punch. It doesn't take up space, but it still makes its mark.
The XLR DI and Line Out outputs? Clearly, you're making the most of them. The XLR goes directly to the console, the Line Out when you want to keep control.
This Hiwatt is serious!
