The Markbass Little AG 58R bass amp head bears the hallmark of Andrew Gouché, without going overboard. This compact head delivers 500 W into 4 ohms, with a solid circuit and calibrated grain. The front-mounted layout makes every adjustment easy. No need to turn the amp upside down to access settings.
The 5-band EQ stands out. Each range remains targeted: 65 Hz for the deep bass, 1.4 kHz for the upper midrange. The curve can be activated or deactivated via a footswitch. The MID and HIGH MID settings refine attack and positioning in the mix.
The XLR output has its own level. It can be adjusted as required using the PRE/POST EQ switch and the ground lift. The effects loop completes the front panel, with a dedicated tuner output next to it. You can control your sound without the need for an external soundboard.
The limiter can be adjusted at the turn of a knob. It absorbs peaks without blocking the energy. The mute button cuts the signal on the fly. Nothing is left to chance: even the speaker and mains outputs are neatly tucked away at the back.
