Subwoofer, equipped with a 15-inch loudspeaker, powered by Class D amplification of 1000 watts RMS, the whole unit develops a maximum SPL of 130 dB! The functions of the integrated DSP can be controlled remotely or simply selected via presets including cardioid configurations, giving a very wide range of options for system configuration.

This technical trick can now be easily performed on Sub LINEAR 5 MK II, without the need for measurement technology: simply select a preset and off you go!
The cardioid configuration attenuates the bass sound pressure of spherically radiating subwoofers by up to 34dB. There is a slight increase in sound pressure of around 2dB in the front sound dispersion.
The result is a directional cardioid radiation pattern.
Cardioid sound reinforcement technology can be used with vertically stacked subwoofers and also with horizontal configurations.
The new 1:1 vertical and 1:1 horizontal cardioid presets are unique features of the Sub LINEAR 5 MK II.
