Subwoofer, equipped with an 18-inch speaker, powered by a Class D amplification of 1000 watts RMS, the set develops a max. SPL of 131 dB! The functions of the integrated DSP can be controlled remotely or simply selected through presets including cardioid configurations, giving a very wide range of options for system configuration.

The cardioid configuration attenuates the bass sound pressure of the subwoofers with spherical physical radiation behind the subwoofers by up to 34dB. There is a slight increase in sound pressure of about 2dB in the front sound dispersion.
This results in a directional cardioid radiation pattern.
The cardioid sound reinforcement technology can be used with vertically stacked subwoofers and also with horizontal configurations. The new 1:1 vertical and 1:1 horizontal cardioid presets are unique features of the Sub LINEAR 5 MK II
