DAW Controllers
Part synthesizer, part MIDI wind controller, ASM's Diosynth combines the tactile feel of a traditional wind instrument with an ultra-expressive synthesis engine. Its mouthpiece with pressure and bite sensors, combined with a breath sensor, captures every nuance of your playing, while the XY joystick and assignable pads open up a world of modulation and control. With its Wavescan oscillators, multiple sample generator and Hydrasynth filter, this synth lets you sculpt unique, dynamic sounds. The Diosynth transforms every breath into a lively, intense performance, with a little extra magic to titillate your sonic imagination.

Presentation
ASM has designed the Diosynth so that wind players can switch naturally between saxophone and clarinet. The key mechanics reproduce the familiar feel of acoustic instruments, while several fingering modes - Sax, Flute, Recorder, Trumpet - allow you to play instantly according to your habits, without compromising on expression or comfort.
"The Diosynth 'reed' incorporates a pressure sensor that can be configured for vibrato, pitch bend or multiple modulations, and a breath sensor that translates the intensity and dynamics of each note. The instrument becomes an extension of your breath and your body, offering expressive nuances to suit your musical style and every performance.
The Diosynth features a joystick and 2 pressure-sensitive pads to which you can assign various functions, from modulation to timbre variation. The assignable buttons and four octave keys expand the sound palette to over eight octaves, allowing you to perform smoothly and complexly without interrupting your playing.
To take things even further, the built-in gyroscope detects the tilt and position of the instrument, transforming movement into sound modulation. You can change the colour of the sound by raising or lowering the Diosynth, enriching your playing and creating new textures that react to every gesture.
As for the sound engine, Diosynth combines 2 Wavescan oscillators, a noise generator, a multi-sample oscillator and attack, blast and decay samples. This architecture makes it possible to fuse synthesis and samples, offering complex or realistic hybrid sounds, from classic winds to original synthetic textures, all of which can be modulated according to your inspiration.

The 16-mode Hydrasynth filter and built-in Drive add warmth and thickness to the sound, while the 4-band EQ and inserted effects allow each patch to be shaped with precision. Growl, reverb, delay and chorus can be accessed directly via the physical controls or the modulation matrix, giving total control over sound colour and dynamics. Every setting becomes intuitive and immediately playable, creating an instrument that responds exactly to your touch and your breath.
The Diosynth Manager software completes the instrument by offering a graphical editor for managing patches, banks and favourites. You can move sounds around, edit each part of the patch and configure all the sensors and controls from your computer. Workflow becomes clear and efficient, allowing you to focus all your energy on musical expression rather than menu navigation, while maintaining perfect synchronisation between the instrument and the application.
With its 768 patches, 384 of which are pre-programmed and 384 created to explore new sounds, Diosynth lets you go from rare acoustic instruments to the wildest synthetic sounds. Each patch can be assigned as a favourite, organised and instantly recalled via the navigation buttons. Whether you want to create ethereal textures, complex melodic lines or experimental atmospheres, the Diosynth responds with precision and creativity, transforming every performance into a captivating sonic experience.
Exclusive multi-sample sets include rare instruments such as Bass Sax, Tubax, contrabassoon, bamboo flutes or hybrids like Flutasaurus and Obassoon. These instruments extend the sound palette over more than eight octaves, offering unique combinations that you won't find anywhere else. Each sound is carefully captured to preserve the richness and natural expression of each instrument, guaranteeing exceptional realism and musicality.
