Ibanez - EP5BP

The Ibanez EP5BP is a slimline acoustic-electric guitar from the Euphoria series, designed to combine playing comfort, refined aesthetics and rich tones. The body of the guitar features a solid Engelmann spruce top, a wood known for its clarity and ability to deliver well-defined mids and vibrant highs.

The back and sides are made of okoume, bringing warmth and depth to the instrument's tones. Its thinline design makes the instrument particularly light and maneuverable, without sacrificing acoustic quality.

The nyatoh neck is topped with a cultured maple fingerboard, an engineered wood that combines maple and epoxy resin to provide a smooth surface and increased stability. This eliminates dead spots on the fingerboard and ensures consistent resonance and dynamics.

The 24 frets allow players to explore a wide range of notes, while maintaining optimal playing comfort. The fingerboard also features a special "Vai" inlay at the 12th fret, a nod to legendary guitarist Steve Vai.

The EP5BP is equipped with a Fishman S-Core pickup and the Ibanez AEQ210TF preamp, specially designed for thin guitars. This preamp offers simple EQ control via two bands (bass and treble), a phase switch to reduce feedback issues, as well as a convenient onboard tuner for live use.

The compressed maple bridge is paired with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, which make changing strings easy while ensuring remarkable string stability.

Finally, the tuning system is completed by gold-plated tuners with brown acrylic buttons, adding a touch of elegance to this exceptional guitar.
