IK Multimedia presents the ToneX Board, a multi-effect pedalboard designed in Italy that combines TONEX and AmpliTube technologies to provide access to a wide range of sounds in a single unit. Thanks to AI Machine Modelling technology, it allows users to access samples of amps, cabinets and pedals, with over 60,000 samples available on ToneNET. Added to this are over 70 effects from AmpliTube, allowing you to create set-ups tailored to every application.
The ToneX Board enables you to build complex signal chains using two parallel AMP/CAB/FX paths, up to 12 effects slots, as well as splitters and mixers. Preset, Scene and Stomp modes make it easy to manage your sounds in the studio, during rehearsals or on stage. Up to 1,400 presets can be organised into 12 setlists and 60 banks of 3 presets.
Its 5-inch colour touchscreen and 5 encoders provide direct access to settings. The stereo input is suitable for guitars and basses, whilst the XLR and TRS outputs, effects loop, MIDI and expression pedal inputs offer a range of connection options.
In the studio, the ToneX Board also functions as a 4-in/2-out audio interface with direct monitoring via USB-C. The 24-bit/192 kHz converters, the frequency response of 5 Hz to 24 kHz and the dynamic range of 123 dB round off this package, designed to support musicians in a variety of set-ups.

A guitarist or bassist can use the ToneX Board in rehearsal or on stage by selecting their sounds using the Preset, Scene or Stomp modes. They can incorporate TONEX samples and AmpliTube effects into their signal chains, connect their instrument to the stereo input, and then use the XLR or TRS outputs to feed into their PA system. In the studio, the USB-C port also allows the ToneX Board to be used as a 4-in/2-out audio interface with direct monitoring.
