Presentation
With more than 1,200 sounds available, the GM-800 offers an infinite sound palette. You can play acoustic and electric pianos, organs, classical orchestral instruments, as well as Roland's classic synthesizers such as the JUPITER-8 and JUNO-106. You can also combine these sounds to create unique sonic textures never heard before.
The GM-800 is equipped with four tone parts and a rhythm part containing a variety of acoustic and electronic percussion instruments. You can modify and adjust each part to sculpt your sound to your preference. Intuitive Scenes operation lets you create and save up to 150 customisable sound configurations. What's more, you can access 100 pre-programmed Scenes, ready to use.
The GM-800 is compatible with Roland Cloud Extensions, giving you access to additional sound packs and waveform extensions to expand your creativity even further. You can also use the GM-800 as a standalone sound module for MIDI keyboards or home studios. With BOSS Tone Studio, you can easily edit and organise your sounds, and with BOSS Tone Exchange, you can download and share GM-800 Livesets with other users.
With a wide variety of effects available in each Scene, you can tailor your sound to your preferences. Each Tone or Rhythm part has its own MFX effects processor, offering 90 different types of effect. What's more, each Scene offers two additional effects for processing the combined sound, plus a high-quality chorus/delay and reverb. You can also use master compression and EQ to fine-tune your final sound.
In short, the GM-800 is an innovative guitar synthesizer that offers a wealth of sonic possibilities, ease of use and flexibility for guitarists and bassists. Whether you're in the recording studio, on stage or in your home studio, the GM-800 is the ideal tool for exploring new musical horizons and bringing your creativity to life.
