2-way wideband cinema surround speaker with coaxial drivers. Its 400-watt power management with high sensitivity provides high SPL capability. 100° x 100° wide-band diffusion control ensures coherent dispersion. The SCS 12 is ideal for multi-channel installations, and is designed for ceiling or wall mounting to ensure extraordinarily clear surround effects with extended frequency response for special effects.
Presentation
The coaxial design uses a unique tapered pole piece design and transitions to the low frequency driver cone as a large diameter pattern control horn for high frequencies, eliminating both high frequency radiation and extending pattern control to the lowest possible frequencies. The result is a coaxial driver with an extremely coherent 100° broadband coverage.
