This Yamaha CXR10 MK3 pack comprises two passive speakers designed for musicians, event organisers and hire companies who already have their own amplification. Their 10" size means they can be used either as front-of-house speakers or as monitor speakers, depending on requirements. Thanks to their bass-reflex design, they fit easily into a variety of set-ups. This pack is equally suited to concerts, conferences and events.

Each speaker has an impedance of 8 Ω and can handle 275 W RMS, with a peak power of 1100 W. Yamaha recommends an amplifier capable of delivering 550 W RMS into 8 Ω to get the best performance from them. The 10" driver is paired with a 1-inch compression driver. The system covers a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, with a crossover frequency set at 2 kHz.

The horizontal coverage of 90° and vertical coverage of 60° facilitates sound distribution across the listening area. The two SpeakON NL4MP connectors allow for easy connection to an external amplifier. The polypropylene cabinet is suitable for both regular transport and permanent installations. The Ø35 mm inserts allow for stand mounting at an angle of 0° or -7°.

When the speakers are placed on the floor, their 55° angle is also suitable for use as monitor speakers. The M10 and M8 suspension points offer a range of installation options depending on the venue layout. Each speaker measures 502 × 310 × 310 mm, with the pack weighing a total of 24.4 kg. Finally, Yamaha provides a warranty of up to 7 years for this set, subject to the products being registered on its website within 6 months of purchase.
