Its shell is made from 10 mm thick high-pressure MDF. This material has undergone a special treatment that acts as a moisture repellent, reinforced by a high-resistance two-component epoxy paint finish. For the soundboard, J. Leiva has chosen a 3 to 3.5 mm thick sheet of 100% natural Russian birch. This superior-quality wood ensures excellent resonance and surprising sound projection for this category.
To make tuning a breeze, the STD tuning system features two parallel guitar strings positioned vertically. This allows you to adjust the tension directly from the outside, very easily and without any tools, so you can instantly find the sound you like.
