Its sturdy 12 mm thick MDF frame is assembled using environmentally friendly water-based glue. To fully unleash the sonic potential of its 3 mm Russian birch striking surface, J. Leiva has fitted this cajon with silicone spikes. These insulating elements ensure complete isolation from the floor, preventing the loss of vibrations and guaranteeing notes of great purity beneath your fingers.
Versatility is also a key feature thanks to the integration of the patented Direct Tuning System (DTS) technology. Its four parallel guitar strings can be tightened or loosened in the blink of an eye from the outside of the shell. Without the need for a key or any tools, you can adjust your playing dynamics in real time with disarming simplicity.
