Kala is one of the world's most famous and prolific manufacturers of ukuleles and U-bass.
After the great success of her tenor model from the 'Learn to Play' range, Mandy Harvey proposed her own design to Kala for a future concert model.
The result is this magnificent all-mahogany model, with the performer's own graphic design.
Less well known in Europe, Mandy Harvey is a jazz and pop singer who lost her hearing at the age of 19. Having suffered from Ehlers-Danlos syndrome since childhood, and despite numerous operations, her hearing faded while she was in her final year of vocal training at the University of Colorado.
After a long period of inactivity, she decided to work with patient and passionate musicians to develop other methods of practising singing.
She even won a Golden Buzzer on "America got talent".
