The ukulele is at the heart of Hawaiian culture and Hawaiian culture is at the heart of the Maori Gardenia Mahogany.
The soundboard of this instrument highlights the Gardenia flower – commonly called Nā’ū (pronounced Na-hoo) in its native country.
This ivory-colored representation is the result of a collaboration with the artist Sam Mangakahia. The latter offers an elegant design that blends harmoniously with the natural texture of the mahogany body, enhanced by a satin finish.
Its acoustic quality is ensured by its resonance wood, mahogany, a material highly prized in the manufacture of ukuleles. It is this which brings the warm and deep sound typical of the instrument.
The rosewood fingerboard, meanwhile, ensures excellent playing comfort while enriching the sound palette.
