Among its very wide range of ukuleles, the Kala brand presents the Maori Hibiscus Mahogany Soprano model, which stands out for its design.
Its soundboard features a beautiful floral pattern, designed by the artist Sam Mangakahia. Kala collaborates with him for its series "The Voyage Collection", intended to highlight various elements of Hawaiian culture.
This model honors the local flower Koki'o kea, better known as Hibiscus waimeae. Here, it is symbolized through a meticulous engraving decorating its soundboard and headstock.
This ukulele is also close to Hawaiian culture through its sound qualities.
Thanks to the rich and warm tones of mahogany, it immediately recalls the typical sound of traditional Hawaiian ukuleles.
