Presentation
The Kawai CX 202 Black is a digital piano designed to support developing pianists, with a balanced combination of realism, versatility and ease of use. Its sleek, refined satin-black cabinet is a natural fit for a modern interior, while housing technologies inherited from the brand's top models.
At the heart of the instrument, the Responsive Hammer Compact II mechanism faithfully reproduces the weight and inertia of the hammers on an acoustic piano. The three built-in sensors ensure precise detection of every nuance of play, while the graduated key system offers a natural feel, ideal for working on consistency and developing your touch.
In terms of sound, the CX 202 Black features the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano, captured using 88-note Harmonic Imaging sampling. This technology offers a wide dynamic range and a rich timbre, from the most delicate pianissimo to the most dazzling fortissimo. With 17 tones available, users can also explore electric pianos, organs, strings and complementary instruments to enrich their interpretations.
Creativity is further enhanced by Dual and Split modes, which allow two timbres to be combined or the keyboard to be split into separate zones, as well as a 4-hand mode for working with a teacher. The 2 x 20 W stereo amplification and 12 cm loudspeakers ensure a clear, warm sound, equally suited to solo practice or family sharing.
Designed with learning in mind, the Kawai CX 202 Black includes a metronome, recorder and Lesson function with teaching pieces by Czerny, Burgmüller, Beyer and Alfred's. The 40 Concert Magic tracks add a touch of fun, while the recording function lets you evaluate your progress. Bluetooth MIDI/Audio and USB connectivity make it easy to link up with applications such as PianoRemote or PiaBookPlayer, turning every session into a truly interactive experience.
Its dual headphone output allows two people to play in silence, while Bluetooth Audio streams music from a smartphone directly through the piano's speakers. With its three Grand Feel pedals and sturdy construction, the Kawai CX 202 Black is a complete instrument, suitable for both serious beginners and amateur pianists who want to progress in the right conditions.
