Presentation
The Kawai CX 202 White has a bright, modern look that blends harmoniously into any living space. Behind this sleek design lies a complete digital instrument, designed to support the progress of both beginners and more advanced amateurs.
The Responsive Hammer Compact II mechanism, with its three sensors, delivers a precise, responsive touch reminiscent of an acoustic piano. Each note is finely detected, so you can work on both delicacy and power. This fidelity of key response makes it easier to acquire the right gestures and prepares you effectively for the transition to a grand piano.
The sound generator features the prestigious Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, reproduced with full sampling of 88 keys using Harmonic Imaging technology. Nuances are reproduced with depth and naturalness, from hushed playing to brilliant attacks. In addition, an expanded palette of sounds, including electric pianos, organs, strings and vibraphone, extends the creative possibilities.
Dual and Split modes allow you to superimpose two timbres or divide the keyboard into two zones. The four-hand mode encourages duet playing, ideal for teaching purposes. Thanks to its 2 x 20 W stereo amplification and 12 cm loudspeakers, the CX 202 White delivers a full, balanced sound that's pleasing both to the musician and to those around him or her.
The built-in functions respond directly to the needs of pianists learning to play: a metronome for working on rhythm, a recorder for analysing progress and a library of teaching pieces from renowned collections (Czerny, Burgmüller, Alfred's). The 40 Concert Magic tracks add a playful dimension, stimulating motivation in the youngest players.
In terms of connectivity, the piano features Bluetooth MIDI and USB for interaction with educational applications such as PianoRemote or PiaBookPlayer. Bluetooth Audio allows music to be played directly through the piano's speakers. Finally, two headphone outputs allow you to play silently, alone or in pairs, without disturbing those around you.
With its three Grand Feel pedals, elegant satin-finish white finish and sturdy cabinet incorporating music rest and sliding keyboard cover, the Kawai CX 202 White combines meticulous design, ease of use and relevant teaching tools to provide lasting support for musical practice.
