The Sire Larry Carlton L7 DX Black is based on a single-cut design optimised to meet today's demands in terms of playability and sound reproduction. Its lightweight mahogany body, combined with a sculpted maple top with flamed veneer, provides a stable acoustic base, offering both depth and clarity.
The set-in mahogany neck contributes to direct vibration transmission. Its C-profile and 24.75" scale ensure consistent ergonomics. The Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard, with rounded edges, facilitates movement and improves comfort across all 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets.
The 12" radius allows adaptation to different playing styles, from rhythmic to solo passages. The electronics are based on two LC Custom-2 humbuckers, controlled by a 3-position selector and separate volume and tone controls, offering detailed nuance management.
The Gotoh Tune-O-Matic bridge, combined with an aluminium Stop Tailpiece, guarantees stable tuning. Lockable tuning machines complete the package. The black finish, gold hardware and ivory pickguard add structure to the model's visual identity.
