With the L7V New Gen Candy Apple Red, Sire Larry Carlton has created a single-cut electric guitar with a contemporary specification, designed for versatile and controlled use. The lightweight mahogany body optimises ergonomics, combined with a hard maple top with flamed veneer for definition and balance. This construction favours an extended sound response, with present bass and articulate treble.
The set-in mahogany neck ensures an effective connection with the body, contributing to even sustain. Its C-shaped profile, combined with the 24.75" pitch, makes it easy to grip. The Edgeless™ ebony fingerboard, with its softened contours, allows fluid play on the 22 Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets.
The 12" radius supports precision, both in chording and solo playing. The electronic configuration is based on two P90 Vintage C pickups. The 3-position selector and dual volume and tone controls provide detailed management of nuances and dynamics.
The aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Tailpiece ensure stable transmission, complemented by lockable tuning machines for reliable tuning. The high-gloss Candy Apple Red finish, ivory pickguard and chrome hardware underline the careful, functional design.
