The S1 Antique White from Sire Larry Carlton has been developed to meet the needs of guitarists looking for versatility and ergonomics. Its Indonesian mahogany body produces a warm sound, with a strong midrange and good overall definition, suitable for a variety of playing styles. The Antique White satin finish, complemented by a mint green pickguard, underlines the guitar's sober, contemporary look.
The C-profile hard maple neck ensures a comfortable grip throughout. The Edgeless™ rosewood fingerboard incorporates rounded edges optimising comfort, while the Medium Jumbo frets make playing easier. The 9.5" radius provides effective adaptability between rhythm and lead playing.
The HSS Sire Standard electronic configuration combines a humbucker in bridge position with two single-coil pickups. The 5-position selector switch, combined with the volume and tone controls, gives access to a wide sound palette, covering clean, intermediate and saturated registers.
The six-screw tremolo system ensures a stable mechanical response, reinforced by diecasting mechanics. The whole package, complemented by chromed hardware, makes for a reliable guitar that's well suited to regular, evolving use.
