The North American alder body delivers a balanced, transparent voice that's neither too low nor too bright, leaving the single-coil LC Super-T pickups free to sculpt the spectrum. These two Larry Carlton signature pickups reproduce the crystal-clear, biting grain characteristic of the T-shape, and their extended, versatile sound design takes the palette beyond the strictly vintage vocabulary. The 3-position selector switches between neck, bridge and centre combination - three clean, unambiguous tonal voices.

The left hand encounters a neck geometry designed to cover two distinct uses. The 9.5"-14" compound radius gradually flattens the fingerboard from the head to the heel: tuning positions at the bottom of the neck benefit from a natural curve for the palm, while bends in the upper position roll over a virtually flat surface without choking the string. The C-profile hard maple neck covers a 647.7 mm scale, which tightens the strings for an assertive bite. The 22 2.7mm Medium Jumbo stainless steel frets on an Edgeless™ hard maple fingerboard - rounded edges, zero side hang - last significantly longer than conventional nickel-plated steel under heavy play. The 42mm GraphTech Tusq XL saddle reduces friction points at the headstock, a common source of tuning drift on vibrato. The 4-bolt steel plate locks the neck/body junction against geometric drift.

The vintage T-type bridge with brass saddle tempers the natural brightness of the maple to deliver a full, round sustain. Sire Premium locking action eliminates excess windage and stabilises tuning on stage. Two pickguards - classic-style PVC and modern-style aluminium - with mint-green main pickguard on the 3TS gradation are available for direct visual customisation. The Luminlay markers on the fingerboard and neck become active in the dark - a real advantage in live situations.
