Sire Larry Carlton's X6 7-String Headless Blue Swirl adopts a headless design combined with a multiscale 25.5" to 26.5" scale, allowing tension to be adjusted across all seven strings. This architecture promotes an even response, particularly in the lower registers, while maintaining balanced playability on the high strings.
The mahogany body, complemented by a maple top, provides a stable acoustic base with a defined response. The C-shaped hard maple neck is combined with an Edgeless rosewood fingerboard with rounded edges, contributing to consistent playing comfort along the entire length of the 24 medium jumbo stainless steel frets.
The electronics are based on a set of LC Modern 7-string humbuckers, controlled by a 5-position selector, volume and tone, for precise management of different sound configurations. The Sire Headless Tremolo-7 bridge integrates the tuning system directly, eliminating the need for traditional tuning machines.
The whole package offers optimised ergonomics, enhanced mechanical stability and a response tailored to the demands of extended modern playing.
