The Sire Larry Carlton Y10 Purple Sparkle guitar is designed for modern playing with a fast response under the fingers. The through-neck construction provides continuity along the entire length of the neck. The notes remain clearly present and the transitions are seamless.

The alder body keeps a good balance with a precise attack. The slightly domed top makes for a more natural playing position. The 3-piece maple neck with inverted headstock adds rigidity and a more distinctive look.

The ebony fingerboard with rounded edges gives a clean feel under the fingers. The compound radius of 30.5 to 40.6 cm means you can play comfortably across the entire surface of the neck. The 24 stainless steel frets give access to a wider register.

Fishman Fluence pickups let you change the sound character directly from the controls. You can switch from a powerful modern sound to a more open rendition. The split can also be used to obtain clearer sounds depending on your playing style.

The 3-position selector makes it easy to manage the different positions. Volume and tone each have a push/pull function for further fine-tuning.

Gotoh vibrato lets you add variations while maintaining good tuning stability. The locking mechanism keeps the strings in place during use. A gig bag is included for transporting the guitar.
