Presentation
This additional subwoofer gives more power to the system Array LD 500. CURV efficient 300W (1200W peak) additional in severe give more punch in the bottom of the audio spectrum. This extension allows course to connect additional Array satellites, for a power of 160W effective (640W peak). Amplification is ensured by two modules working in Class D switching power supply. The woofer 25 cm (10 inches) is mounted in a bass reflex cabinet plywood. The cabinet, a solid structured painted finish, measuring 325 x 383 x 491 mm 16.5 kg; with its three ergonomic handles, it is easy to transport. Besides a multiband limiter based on DSP circuits provide protection against short circuits, overheating or overcharging. The Ground Lift function removes any hum due to different ground potentials within the audio sound system installation. A threaded shaft M20 is integrated to the housing, for mounting a speaker for coupling rod. The system wiring is accomplished through an XLR connector 5 points for input and output. The satellites are powered via compatible Speakon.
