The Legator Ghost X 8-string Multi-scale Palemoon Ebony is based on an ash structure, a light wood that allows frequencies to vibrate freely while retaining a warm resonance. The base is topped by a poplar burr top, here finished in a satin finish that highlights the organic grain of the material.

The through neck, made from five layers of wenge and maple, provides the rigid foundation needed to support the tension of the eight strings without ever faltering, enabling the musician's energy to be transmitted directly to the body of the instrument.

Playing is anchored by the Pale Moon ebony fingerboard. This dense, naturally smooth wood offers a percussive response under the fingers, ideal for rapid progressions. The fan fret system features a variable pitch from 26.5 to 28 inches: this configuration allows the lower strings to be stretched for surgical precision on low riffs, while retaining a natural suppleness on the higher strings. The 24 stainless steel frets eliminate any unnecessary friction when sliding or bending.
