Pedal and Power Supply
An active, wear-free expression pedal, Dual Expression is designed around extremely precise Hall-effect magnetic sensors for wear-free operation.

Presentation
LEHLE pedals use a Hall effect sensor, discovered by Edwin Hall, to measure the intensity of magnetic fields.
The Hall sensor in the LEHLE DUAL EXPRESSION is precisely calibrated to the built-in magnet and the stroke of the rocker plate. The pedal only moves the magnet and measures its distance from the Hall sensor.
Two digital potentiometers, which accept analogue voltages up to 18 V, generate the expression values reliably and accurately.
This technology is far more precise than conventional expression pedals with mechanical potentiometers.
And because there's no mechanical wear, there's no need for maintenance or time-consuming adjustments.
The two outputs can be used to control virtually all current equipment with inputs ranging from 5k to 100k, regardless of whether the connectors are TS, TRS or RTS, and pushbuttons can be used to set and memorise the polarity of the outputs.
The 10k output can act as a momentary or permanent switch that is triggered when the tray is tilted fully forward.
This can be used, for example, to change the channel of an amplifier or, if connected to the switching input of a multi-effect, to control any function of the device.
The LEHLE DUAL EXPRESSION operates very smoothly because it is fitted with low-friction plain bearings made of high-quality polymer.
The resistance of the platter can be precisely adjusted by means of an adjusting screw.
