Looptrotter Sa2rate 2, an improved dual-channel saturator. It uses a solid-state saturation circuit to musically enrich the signal, increasing the RMS level without amplifying the peaks. The second generation includes instrument inputs, THD filters, and independent control of the Dry/Wet signal. "LO Safe" and "HI Smooth" options allow precise control of distortion on the low and high frequencies. The Looptrotter SA2RATE 2 is a two-channel saturator that uses Looptrotter's solid-state saturation circuit to add lower order harmonics and musically equalize the signal, increasing the RMS level without increasing the peaks.

- Drive: controls the input level of the processed signal and the depth of saturation.
- Process (True Bypass): allows you to switch between dry and saturated signal. The amount of harmonics added is indicated by two LEDs that light up at 4 and 8% THD.
- LO safe: activates the pre-emphasis and de-emphasis circuit, preventing distortion of the lowest frequencies.
- HI smooth: amplifies the high frequencies before the saturation circuit and attenuates them after.
The module can produce a very subtle sound, adding a slight coloration, or aggressive when the saturation is activated at 100%.
