The LR Baggs Element Active System is a pickup that really changes the way you amplify your acoustic guitar.
Placed discreetly under the nut, it picks up vibrations from the soundboard rather than just the strings. This technical detail avoids the metallic effect that many piezo systems have.
The incredibly fine sensor follows the nuances of your playing with impressive precision. As a result, your notes retain the warmth and natural dynamics of the instrument.
The Class A preamp housed in the jack makes the whole system extremely reliable and easy to use. It activates automatically as soon as you plug in your cable, so you don't have to search for a switch.
And with the volume knob fixed to the inside of the rosette, you can keep control without cluttering up the look of your guitar. A 9V battery (not included) gives you almost 1000 hours of autonomy, so you can play for a long time without worrying about replacing it.
Installation is relatively straightforward, requiring no major alterations to the instrument. The pickup fits both 3/32" and 1/8" saddles.
