The Lumenradio MoonLite 2 is a compact, self-contained DMX/RDM transceiver designed to add instant wireless connectivity to any fixture via its built-in 5-pin XLR connector. Presentation
Lumenradio's MoonLite² is a modern, flexible solution for adding a reliable wireless link to a spotlight or small DMX installation. Designed to be used directly as an output from a fixture, it fits in the hand and is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery, allowing it to be used without power cables.
XLR 5-pin male and female connectors make it easy to insert into an existing DMX chain, and the fixture can operate as a transmitter as well as a receiver. This flexibility is further enhanced by the CRMX, CRMX2, W-DMX G3, G4, G4S and G5 compatibility, confirmed in the technical documentation.
The user interface is based on a small screen and navigation buttons for quick access to linking menus, radio protocol selection, Flex Mode and system information. The Bluetooth 5.0 module provides direct access to the CRMX Toolbox 2 application for advanced settings, updates or remote RDM configuration.
Claimed battery life is up to 12 hours in CRMX RX mode, with recharging possible via USB-C or a dedicated charging box, where the unit recharges safely when not in use. The files supplied also state that charging via USB-C leaves the device operational, allowing it to be used while powering the module.
