The Showtec AirDrive 2.4 IP 5-pin is aimed at technicians who need a DMX relay capable of ensuring reliable communication, even when the installation takes place outdoors. Its IP65 rating means it can be used in the rain or in dusty areas, making it particularly suitable for festivals, travelling events and performances where speed of installation is essential. This model comes with G3, G4 and G4S modes, guaranteeing broad compatibility with existing systems and different generations of wireless transmissions.

Its design incorporates a special recess for direct attachment to a structural tube. This means it can be positioned as close as possible to the spotlights or DMX lines to be powered. An additional bracket allows it to be mounted alternatively on the front, in a control room or in a technical area. In receiver mode, the fixture provides three optically isolated DMX outputs. These allow a DMX network to be extended or a critical line to be doubled, without any risk of electrical interference being sent back into the chain.

Transmission is based on a 5 dBi omnidirectional antenna, designed to optimise reception in open-field situations. With a very short reaction time, control remains fluid, even in fast effects or synchronised sequences. For power, AirDrive 2.4 IP uses Power Pro True connectors, ideal for securing outdoor set-ups or preventing accidental disconnection. With its 5-pin XLR DMX connector, this version integrates easily into professional installations requiring a high-end cabling standard.
