The Markbass Mb Rb Kilimanjaro F1 5 Signature Richard Bona Olive is the result of a close collaboration between Richard Bona and Marco De Virgiliis. Inspired by the Italian luthier tradition, it combines noble woods with modern electronics to offer a complete musical experience.
Its body in Val di Fiemme spruce, renowned for its elasticity and resonance, is enhanced by an Abruzzo olive top, giving the instrument a natural, distinctive aesthetic. The solid maple neck and selected maple fingerboard ensure stability and precision, while the 24 frets and 34" pitch guarantee fluid playability throughout the range.
The Bartolini MK5CBC pickups, combined with the Markbass active/passive preamp, offer a wide range of timbres, from warm, round tones to brighter, more defined nuances. The Tone control, which can be used in passive mode, allows a subtle transition between smoothness and clarity.
The quality hardware, with Gotoh tuning machines and Hipshot Kickass bridge, ensures reliability and ease of adjustment. Made in Italy, each bass is unique thanks to the handcrafted choice of woods.
