Presentation
The Markbass Little Mark Vintage 1000 58R is a bass amp head that concentrates what fussy bassists are looking for: power, clarity and character. Thanks to its 1000W into 4 ohms and its ECC83 preamp, it fuses modern presence with analogue grain.
The front-panel EQ control targets precise zones: 68 Hz for deep bass, 400 Hz for the lower midrange, 2.2 kHz for penetrating a mix, and 10 kHz for ventilation. Each band adjusts up to ±16 dB, without drifting.
The FLAT / CUT / OLD switch lets you shape the sound profile. In OLD mode, the top end of the spectrum is cut to leave room for a warm, very organic sound. The limiter, meanwhile, can be gently adjusted to avoid excessively dry peaks.
The transformer-balanced DI delivers a clean, dynamic signal. It retains its integrity even on stage or in the studio. PRE/POST EQ switches and a ground lift add to its versatility. The effects loop completes the package for integrating a complex chain.
The format remains compact: just 3 kg, in a sturdy chassis. The speaker outputs are at the rear, with all controls on the front panel.
This is a head designed for those who want to go fast, play loud and keep control. Whether you tour frequently or work in the studio, it will fit into any setup.
