Marshall - The Guv’nor Overdrive
On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, Marshall revisits its classics and offers you a reissue of the emblematic Blues Breaker. Released in 1988, the Guv’nor was the first pedal that compressed the sound of Marshall amps in a small box. Since its first appearance on the market, it has become a standard in overdrive, capable of offering soft and warm tones and a powerful gain for this emblematic sound. Made in England and available in a limited edition, it revives timeless tones thanks to its impeccable design. Attention limited quantities.
Presentation
This reissue faithfully recreates the classic sound, delivering smooth saturation with a touch of compression.
From warm, smooth tones, to the edge of saturation for a classic, heavier sound.
This reissue covers every playing style.
All that's missing are the stories gathered from over 30 years of use, but that's where you come in.
Handcrafted to the original specifications and assembled in the Marshall factory in the UK, the pedal is housed in a mild steel enclosure, faithfully modelled on the originals, from the unique shape of the enclosure itself to the individually coloured control knobs.
It's built to stand the test of time and gigs.
