Martin Audio - Blackline Q118-B Subwoofer noir 18"

The Martin Audio Blackline Q118-B subwoofer is an 18" passive subwoofer designed to effectively reinforce the bass in a broadcast system. It uses an 18" driver with a 4" voice coil, capable of producing a deep, tight bass. The frequency response goes down to 38 Hz, with an extension to 31 Hz, enabling the fundamentals to be covered without difficulty. The pressure level reaches 136 dB peak, sufficient for live or DJ configurations.

The plywood cabinet withstands the rigours of transport and regular use. Slot vents limit air noise and keep the bass clean even at high volumes. The steel grille provides effective protection for the loudspeaker in real-life conditions. The 8 ohm impedance makes it easy to combine with different amplifiers.

This model can be used on its own for small configurations or in a stack to increase bass reserve. The M10 inserts can also be used for suspended installation if required. An M20 socket is provided for mounting a loudspeaker directly on top, which is practical for compact systems.

The three NL4 connectors make wiring and linking system components easy. Integrated handles make it easy to move around the system, despite its considerable weight. Skids and notches ensure stable stacking when in use. This subwoofer works with a suitable amp and processor for precise system tuning.
