The 000CJR Bass Burst from Martin & Co is an acoustic bass that combines playing comfort with a rich sound. Its 000 format with cutaway makes it an accessible instrument that's easy to hold and ideal for exploring the entire neck without constraint. The spruce top provides clarity and resonance, while the sapele used for the back and sides ensures great bass depth.
The neck is made from selected hardwoods, and the fingerboard is made from Richlite FSC, for a smooth, natural feel. With its 24.9-inch pitch and 20 frets, this bass maintains a balance between precision and comfort, equally suited to playing chords and rhythm lines.
On the sound side, the 000CJR features the Martin E1 system with tuner, volume, tone and phase controls, designed to faithfully reproduce the acoustic character of the instrument on stage or in the studio. Fitted with Junior Bass M4750 strings, it delivers a warm, expressive sound from the very first note.
The look is no slouch either, with an elegant Burst finish, reliable chrome tuners and an imitation tortoiseshell pickguard to complete the aesthetic. A bass that inspires and accompanies every moment of play.
