Presentation
The Martin & Co D-10E Retro LH + cover is a left-handed electro-acoustic dreadnought designed to offer power, balance and reliability. Based on the Road Series, it has a D-14 Fret shape that combines ample projection and controlled response, making it ideal for a variety of playing styles, from delicate picking to vigorous chords.
Its solid spruce top, combined with solid sapele back and sides, produces a rich, nuanced sound: deep, clear bass, precise mids and bright highs without harshness. This balanced sound palette makes it a versatile instrument, suitable for both pure acoustic playing and amplification.
The Scalloped X-Bracing bracing enhances dynamics and resonance, while the Performing Artist neck with its PA High Performance profile makes it easy to play. Chord transitions become smoother and melodic patterns more natural. The ebony fingerboard, decorated with Style 28 inlays, offers a responsive, finger-friendly surface, with a nut width of 1 3/4" suitable for many players.
On the amplification side, the Martin E1 system incorporates volume, tone, phase and tuning controls, giving immediate control over the sound. Finally, the included semi-rigid case protects and accompanies the instrument every day. The D-10E Retro LH is a versatile dreadnought, ready to inspire and support every musical idea.
