The Grand J-28E Double Neck from Martin & Co is a rare creation, designed to offer musicians a wider range of sounds. For the first time in over a century, Martin is offering a double-neck guitar, combining a 6-string neck and a 12-string neck on a Grand Jumbo body.
This design makes it possible to switch instantly from a clear, defined texture to a full, harmonic sound, without changing instruments. The solid spruce top, combined with East Indian rosewood for the back and sides, ensures powerful projection and tonal richness.
The specific X-bracing on the double neck, designed for stability and resonance, guarantees remarkable balance. Selected wood necks with Modified Low Oval and High-Performance Taper profiles offer comfort and fluidity of play. Ebony fingerboards and mother-of-pearl inlays add a touch of refinement.
Equipped with the Fishman Double Neck system, this guitar is ready to be amplified with precision, whether in the studio or on stage. Supplied with a moulded hard case, it's protected and ready to accompany the musician in all his explorations.
