Designed for left-handed guitarists, the HD-28E Golden Era LH from Martin & Co combines acoustic tradition with an integrated amplification solution. Its dreadnought format combines an East Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid spruce top, for a wide range of sound, punchy lows and accurate highs, ideal for both chording and picking.
The Golden Era-style scalloped bracing promotes response and projection, with nuanced dynamics under the fingers. The selected hardwood neck, shaped to the GE Modified Low Oval profile with High-Performance Taper, facilitates movement along the entire length of the fingerboard. You'll find that the ebony fingerboard, punctuated by abalone inlays, adds a neat visual touch that's complemented by open nickel tuning machines for stable tuning.
The herringbone binding and imitation tortoiseshell pickguard are reminiscent of the brand's historic models. On the amplification side, the Fishman Aura VT Blend system brings back the acoustic character once plugged in. This left-handed electro-acoustic guitar comes with a hard case, so it's perfect for studio work or live performances.
