The D Jr StreetLegend Burst from Martin & Co is an electro-acoustic guitar designed for guitarists who want an instrument that's balanced, comfortable to play and at ease in a wide range of musical situations. Taking advantage of the Junior Dreadnought 14-fret construction, it combines the rich, deep sound of a Martin with a size that makes it easy to move around and play for long sessions.
Its solid spruce top combined with solid sapele back and sides delivers a clear, friendly sound, with a generous resonance supported by an optimised scalloped X-brace. The result is an expressive musical voice, present without being intrusive.
The selected Performing Artist hardwood neck with High-Performance Taper makes chord attack and melodic playing natural and unconstrained, suitable for all levels. The Richlite fingerboard and 24.9″ scale promote a pleasant, stable grip.
On the practical side, the Martin E1 electronics include a tuner and intuitive controls, making it easy to use live or when recording. Aesthetically, the Satin StreetLegend Burst finish and faux tortoise pickguard add character to the instrument. Supplied with a sturdy softshell bag, this model is easy to take with you wherever you go.
