The Hybrid 55 sends out a powerful electric guitar sound thanks to its two Rockfield Mini and SWC humbucker pickups, enough to delight your ears and those of your audience, and its MK Great 8 mode goes even further by letting you coil tap for a clearer sound similar to a single pickup. But the biggest advantage of this guitar is its versatility: with a flick of the wrist, you can switch from an electric sound to an acoustic option thanks to the Fishman Powerbridge piezo placed just under the bridge, allowing you to redouble your creativity and drastically change your sound, without needing to change guitars. Its full body makes it more rock or metal sounding than the jazzier body of its cousin, the Hybrid Special.
